For those of you who missed the Brampton-Barrie series (if Game 5 was any indication, you didn't miss much), there was a lot of off-ice hubbub after Brampton's website referred to Barrie as "hillbilly" before the Colts ousted the Battalion in five games.

As if Mississauga St. Michael's Majors owner Eugene Melnyk didn't have enough problems -- what with his OHL team on the verge of elimination and his NHL Ottawa Senators in the tank -- now the Biovail billionaire has come under fire from both the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC).
It wouldn't be the OHL playoffs if you didn't have people -- fans, media, coaches, players -- complaining about the level of officiating in the league.

Today, I'd like to rage against the OHL website and the inaccurate information which can be regularly found on its pages.
The OHL announced today that the league will be instituting mandatory neck protectors for all players beginning the week of March 10th.
