Here’s hoping your holiday was slightly more memorable than mine. After working both Christmas Day and Boxing Day, I was able to escape the clutches of the Star sports desk. It was OK though because this lowly OHL reporter was able to make some much needed holiday pay.

The Owen Sound Attack have named defenceman David Kolomatis as the team's new captain. The sophomore replaces forward Scott Tregunna, who was traded to the Kitchener Rangers earlier this week.

Went to the Majors game last night to see the visiting Kitchener Rangers skate away with a 5-2 victory.

Caught some of the game between the Mississauga Majors and Brampton Battalion this afternoon. And once again Bobby Sanguinetti stole the show with a four goal performance in a 7-1 Battalion victory. The blueliner added an assist and was a plus three on the afternoon.
Sapurji: Pipe break washes out Fronts game
Tonight's game in Kingston between the Frontenacs and Kitchener Rangers has been postponed due to a broken brine line in the ice plant.
The game has been rescheduled to Sat. Dec. 8, 2008 @ 7pm.
