Doyle: Generals Advance, Spirit Survive
The Oshawa Generals have advanced to the second round of the playoffs, but not without some controversy. Meantime, the Saginaw Spirit live to see another day after thumping the Soo Greyhounds.
Sapurji: Lowly OHL reporter, even lowlier
This has been bothering me since Tuesday night. When I was at the General Motors Centre for Game 3 of the Oshawa-Kingston series I met a young usher who was in the journalism program at Durham College.
Sapurji: Ryder helps Whalers to Round 2
Plymouth Whalers general manager and head coach Mike Vellucci took a calculated risk in early January brining in Daniel Ryder from the Peterborough Petes at the trade deadline.
Sapurji: Intermission Musings @ Guelph
Since Terry is taking care of the game details and my lowly OHL computer can't seem to handle the wireless here in Guelph, I've been banished to the intermissions.
Anyway, here are my random thoughts so far...2nd Period Thoughts
Game 4: Plymouth at Guelph LIVE here
Loosepucks.com is on-hand at the Guelph Sports and Entertainment Centre for tonight's Game 4 of the Plymouth/Guelph Western Conference Quarterfinal Final, with the Whalers leading the series 3-0.

Doyle: Greyhounds win third straight on Spirit
The Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds have taken a stranglehold on their Western Conference Quarterfinal series against the Saginaw Spirit following a 5-3 win at The Steelback Centre Wednesday.
Sapurji: Generals 7 Kingston 4
The OHL playoffs never cease to amaze me. Every year I see something I’ve never seen before.
Last night during Oshawa’s 7-4 win over Kingston, I witnessed the Generals score not one, but two short-handed goals while the Frontenacs held a 5-on-3 man advantage.
Doyle: Tuesday playoff wrap
Tuesday night in the Ontario Hockey League playoffs saw the first team eliminated, a few more pushed to the brink, and a couple potential upsets come into play.
Doyle: 67's Win Opener, Finally
The Belleville Bulls and Ottawa 67's had eight days off, and the Kitchener-Sarnia series played three games before the Bulls and 67's finally played the opener of their Eastern Conference Quarterfinal.
Sapurji: Yesterday's recap
The Kingston Frontenacs are in tough down 2-0 to the Oshawa Generals in their Eastern Conference quarter-final, much to the dismay of my co-worker Chris S.
Sapurji: Barrie 3 Brampton 1
Wrap Up: Blogging in real-time was a lot harder than I thought it would be. Especially with the minus-10 temperatures in the press box at the Barrie Molson Centre (that's minus-35 with the wind-chill).
Doyle: Watching the West on a Saturday night
With Sunaya in Barrie checking out the Colts and Brampton Battalion I figured I'd keep an eye on a pair of games in the Western Conference tonight and bring you some running commentary and random thoughts (some tongue-in-cheek) on what's happening in the games.
