Doyle: Former Lewiston Coach joins Rimouski
As expected, it did not take long for Clement Jodoin to re-surface in the Quebec League. On Monday, he made it known he would not return to the Lewiston Maineiacs as his contract had expired. He has since been introduced as the new head coach of the Rimouski Oceanic.
Doyle: Rotter Returns to Guelph; Lawrence signs with T-Bay
The Guelph Storm have announced that Austrian forward Rafael Rotter will return to the Storm this fall for his overage campaign. Also, the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning have inked Mississauga IceDogs forward Chris Lawrence to a contract.
Doyle: Balsillie quiet during hometown appearance
PETERBOROUGH - The proposed new owner of the NHL's Nashville Predators remained tight-lipped about the deal during what's believed to be one of his first public appearances since the sale was announced earlier this month.
Doyle: Duchene to report to Brampton minicamp
After saying for the past year that he was leaning towards attending Michigan State University, Brampton Battalion fifth overall pick Matt Duchene is taking the first step towards possibly joining the Ontario Hockey League club. Duchene will be in attendance at this weekend's Battalion mini-camp.
Doyle: Mike Futa joins LA Kings
In a move that had been rumoured for months, Mike Futa has stepped down as General Manager of the Owen Sound Attack to accept a position as Co-Director of Amateur Scouting for the Los Angeles Kings.
Futa joined the Attack for the start of the 2002-03 season and hired Mike Stother as head coach. He also helped bring in players like Bobby Ryan, Bobby Sanguinetti and many more.
Doyle: Barr to guide Canadian U-18's
Guelph Storm GM/Head Coach Dave Barr has been named the coach of Canada's Under-18 team for the summer tournament in August. Former London Knights assistant coach Jacques Beaulieu, who is now head coach with Saint John in the Quebec League, will served as one of the assistants.

Sapurji: GM Centre Liens Forward
There are a couple interesting stories related to the Oshawa Generals and their new home, the General Motors Centre.
The first is in regards to the actual construction of the building as Oshawa This Week is reporting that roughly $1.1 million worth of liens have been filed on the arena by contractors who are still waiting to be paid by the Generals for their completed work.
