Doyle: Wheeling and dealing OHL picks
In the days leading up to the OHL Priority Selection, General Managers are moving some picks around.
...The Niagara IceDogs have picked up Kingston's fourth round pick on Saturday, from London. In return, the Knights receive Barrie's sixth rounder pick in 2012, London's tenth in 2012 and Barrie's third round pick in 2014.
Meanwhile, a deal involving the 2012 CHL Import Draft sees Oshawa deal their choice, which is seventh among OHL clubs, along with their sixth round pick in 2013 to Plymouth. The Whalers send London's third round pick on Saturday, Plymouth's sixth in 2012 and Kitchener's first round import pick in 2012.
The Sarnia Sting have dealt Ottawa's 3rd round pick in 2012 and their own tenth in 2013 to Windsor in return for the Spitfires' fifth in 2012 and also Guelph's fifth on Saturday.
Then Sarnia dealt their 2nd round pick on Saturday to Sault Ste. Marie for Plymouth's second rounder. The Sting move down as a result of this deal, meaning it is either a follow-up to a previous deal or there will be more later.
Barrie deals their seventh round pick in 2013 to Saginaw for Belleville's eighth this year.
Windsor moves Ottawa's third round pick in 2012 (acquired from Sarnia above) to Sudbury for the Wolves fourth round pick in 2012 and second rounder in 2015.
Niagara swaps their seventh in 2012, Oshawa's third in 2013, the IceDogs' eighth in 2013 and Kingston's third in 2014 to Barrie for London's second round pick in 2012.
And Guelph sends their first round import pick in 2012 to Saginaw for the Spirit's 11th round pick on Saturday, their fourth rounder in 2013 and Saginaw's 2013 first round import pick.
